Chassahowitzka River keepers is a grassroots organization that is just getting off the ground. Our goals include facilitating invasive lyngbya removal and native plant restoration on the Chassahowitzka River in Citrus County Florida. The group consists of local paddling enthusiasts, fishermen and women, wildlife enthusiasts, spring lovers, as well as local members of the community that share a love for the river we affectionately call The Chaz. We are currently working towards becoming a nonprofit org.
We Need You!
